Candidates should have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience and preferred certification, with shifts primarily during the daytime. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients (pediatric through adult).
• Accurately process and enter specimen requisitions into the laboratory computer system.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during all interactions.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support coverage at multiple locations as needed.

Under the general direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, Assistant Phlebotomy Supervisor, and Director of Laboratory Services, the Phlebotomist plays a vital role in collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring accurate laboratory processing.

Schedule

Schedule: Full Time

Pay Range: $19.57 - $24.00 / Hourly

Shift: Day shift

Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm
