Job summary

Emerson Health is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Concord, Massachusetts. This full-time role involves performing venipunctures and specimen collections while ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate laboratory processing.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience and preferred certification, with shifts primarily during the daytime. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients (pediatric through adult).
  • Accurately process and enter specimen requisitions into the laboratory computer system.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during all interactions.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support coverage at multiple locations as needed.

Job Summary

Join our dedicated laboratory team and make a meaningful impact on patient care every day. Under the general direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, Assistant Phlebotomy Supervisor, and Director of Laboratory Services, the Phlebotomist plays a vital role in collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring accurate laboratory processing.

Schedule

Schedule: Full Time

Pay Range: $19.57 - $24.00 / Hourly

Shift: Day shift

Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
