Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our closed-door facility on an ad-hoc basis. You will perform standard pharmacist duties, reviewing orders, verifying labels, and ensuring compliance while supporting high-demand periods and leave coverage.

The role offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative team, maintain licenses, and provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy.
• MN State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License required.
• Order Entry experience is required.
• Experience supervising pharmacy techs a plus.
• Ability to work well in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages workflow including pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging.
• Reviews medication orders for appropriateness and completeness.
• Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Performs duties with a friendly, team-oriented approach.
• Maintains licenses or certifications in good standing.
• Adheres to all company policies and standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge.
