Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Minnetonka, MN is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an November 2026 start. This on-site role focuses on entering new or refill orders and adjudicating insurance claims within a long-term care setting. You will work Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. CST as part of our order-entry team, supporting accurate processing, timely communication with leadership, and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in order entry in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting
• Must possess a MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• PTCB is preferred but not required.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC is preferred but not required.
• Type an average of 60 wpm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Can meet order deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Is available for occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or renewed orders
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
• Properly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
• Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
