Job summary

Qualifications

• Tennessee Pharmacist license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriate formulations.
• Ensure proper labeling, including secondary labels, and maintain drug distribution integrity.
• Review patient drug regimens for interactions or contraindications and communicate with physicians/nurses as needed.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists with constructive feedback.
• Maintain patient profiles with allergies, diagnoses, weights, and IV therapy orders.
