Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist at Vanderbilt University Hospital to support inpatient adult care. The role focuses on central pharmacy operations, sterile products, OR, and Jim Ayers Tower, with night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am and a 7 days on/7 days off schedule.

Inpatient/hospital pharmacist experience is preferred; relocation assistance is available to help you join our team delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a leading academic health system.

Formación

• Inpatient/Hospital Pharmacist experience preferred.
• Pharmacist license in Tennessee.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews drug orders and prescriptions for safe, appropriate and cost‑effective use of medications.
• Provides outstanding patient care by optimizing medication preparation and resolving medication‑related problems.
• Prepares and dispenses medications, provides drug information and manages therapy according to regulations and hospital policy.
• Supervises activities of assigned support personnel and verifies accuracy of medications before dispensing.
