Job summary

Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist PRN to provide coverage across clinics including medicine, cardiology, surgery, critical care. The role supports cost-effective pharmacotherapy and patient safety.

The position offers shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm, 3:00pm to 10:30pm, and 12:45pm to 11:15pm, Monday through Friday, with up to ~20 hours per week based on clinical needs. PGY1 residency is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a PGY1 residency is highly preferred.

• Strong emphasis on medication safety and pharmacotherapy optimization.

Responsibilities

• Reviews drug orders to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective use.
• Prepares and dispenses medications; provides drug information and manages therapy.
• Maintains quality and safety of clinical pharmacy services; supervises support personnel.
