Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for our Inpatient Anesthesia Team. You’ll work on a wide variety of cases in a level 1 trauma center setting, with opportunities to mentor students and participate in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• RN licensure in North Carolina and current NBCRNA certification.
• Current CPR Certification - ACLS, BLS.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Precept Student Nurse Anesthetists when applicable.
• Determine patient care plans for peri-operative anesthesia.
• Collaborate with medical team to uphold patient safety and drive quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate patient records per hospital standards.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to deliver timely patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to cost containment and perform related duties.
