PRN - Patient Services Specialist (Front Office Receptionist)

Overview

As a highly visible Patient Service Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for gathering important information for their visit and providing an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Cover PRN hours as needed; no guaranteed hours.
  2. Greet patients and visitors warmly in person or by phone.
  3. Check patients in and out.
  4. Schedule clinic and surgical appointments, including pre-operative and post-operative visits.
  5. Review paperwork and obtain consents for procedures.
  6. Verify insurance and collect payments.
  7. Maintain patient medical records.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Flexible schedule is REQUIRED.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Medical Front Desk experience preferred.
  • Dedicated to creating a quality patient experience.
