Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a PRN Patient Care Technician EMT Brookside to join our nursing team. You will assist Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, monitor conditions, and help with daily needs to restore comfort and dignity for every patient served.

You will help with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and infection control while supporting a welcoming environment across Kansas City locations.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNA or EMT certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
