Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a PRN Patient Care Tech to support patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with routine patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, patient ambulation, and responding to patient requests while maintaining documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine patient care, obtain and document vital signs, collect lab specimens, ambulate patients, respond to patient requests, pass dietary trays, and accompany patients as needed.
• Nonclinical duties at PSU nursing desk: answering telephones, building charts on new admissions, breaking down charts on discharged patients, entering charges into EHR, organizing and performing first audit of medical records.
