Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support clinical teams in routine patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, and patient transport within our Trophy Club facility. The role offers cross-training opportunities within the Baylor Scott & White/USPI partnership and exposure to a wide range of specialties.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Prefer one year minimum in hospital, high-volume clinic, private physician’s office or nursing home.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine patient care and document vital signs.
• Collect lab specimens and ambulate patients.
• Respond to patient requests and pass dietary trays.
• Accompany patients as necessary and perform nonclinical duties at the PSU nursing desk (answering phones, charting, etc.).
