Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Representative on a PRN basis in Florida. The role supports patient access at the MDNow Urgent Care Clinic with flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends, while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, answering calls, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate demographic records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or routes questions.
• Verifies insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures.
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift with all forms of payment documented.
