Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a PRN Paramedic to provide advanced life support and rapid patient assessment. You will transport patients, determine priorities, and administer interventions per state protocols.

Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PEPP, and PALS (PALS within 6 months of hire); a Kentucky paramedic license and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Paramedic license issued by the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PEPP and PALS certifications required (PALS within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced life support care to ill or injured patients.
• Transports and transfers patients and assesses illness/injury to establish and prioritize procedures.
• Administers oxygen or artificial respiration as needed; starts intravenous fluids and other emergency interventions per protocols.

Job Summary:

Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured. Transports and transferspatients and assess the extent of an illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures tofollow. Applies artificial respiration or administers oxygen in cases of suffocation and asphyxiation, startsand administers intravenous fluids, performs other emergency medical interventions in accordance with State and Locally approved medical protocols.

Job Requirements:

• Paramedic License issued by the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
