Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paramedic licensure by KY EMS.
• Valid Kentucky Driver's License.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• PALS certification (American Heart Association).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Other certifications as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured.
• Administers direct care to patients of all ages under EMS medical protocols.
• Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies and paramedic scope of practice.
