Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Paramedic for PRN status to deliver advanced life support to patients in emergencies. You will assess illness or injuries, provide critical interventions, and transport patients to appropriate facilities according to state protocols.

Required licensure includes the Kentucky Board of EMS Paramedic certification, BCLS, ACLS, PEPP, and PALS (within 6 months). This role is based in Kentucky and supports rapid response teams across Baptist Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license with KY Board of EMS required.
• BCLS certification required for basic life support.
• ACLS certification required for advanced life support.
• PEPP certification required for pediatric prehospital care.
• PALS certification due within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support care to ill or injured patients.
• Transport and assess patients to prioritize medical procedures.
• Administer oxygen or artificial respiration; start IV fluids as needed.
