Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics is seeking a PRN Paramedic/EMT-B to deliver holistic care, coordinate services, and educate patients and families in an onsite role in Guttenberg, IA.

The position requires Iowa Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification with ongoing EMS education; BLS/ACLS/PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation within 1 year, and a valid Iowa driver’s license are required. IPERS and a 457b option are offered along with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold Iowa Advanced EMT or Paramedic Certification
• Current Iowa Advanced EMT/Paramedic Certification required
• Maintain BLS/ACLS/PALS/NR-EMT/Paramedic certifications
• Iowa Driver's License required; PHTLS preferred
• Must read, write and follow written or oral instructions; team-oriented

• Deliver holistic care including clinical interventions and coordination of services
• Provide patient and family education
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties
