Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Paramedic to support our Transport EMS team in the Hamburg/Lexington/Georgetown area. You will provide advanced life support, transport patients, and document care per state and hospital protocols.

Role requires active Kentucky Paramedic license, BLS, PALS/ACLS, and a valid driver's license. Prior EMS transport experience preferred. Work is on-site with flexible hours as a part-time PRN position.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Provider.
• PALS & ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support and direct patient care per protocols.
• Complete required documentation and patient care reports promptly.
• Coordinate ambulance transport and prioritize multiple patients.
• Maintain ambulance readiness, equipment and ALS gear.
• Adhere to Baptist Health policies and EMS scope of practice.

Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician’s assistant, and emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or utilizes approved EMS medical protocols if transporting a patient.
