Job summary

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic to sit onsite and facilitate contrast injections at our Arlington, TX location. This role supports MRI procedures and requires ACLS certification with prior EMT/Paramedic experience and excellent communication skills.

The on-site Paramedic coordinates with radiologists, responds to adverse events, and ensures safety protocols including MRI screening and emergency readiness are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience as an EMT or Paramedic required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contrast injections on-site at multiple locations including Arlington, TX.
• Respond to adverse events and coordinate with radiologists for patient care.
• Document procedures and ensure Liab. Insurance and license requirements are met.
• Ensure 911 is called when necessary and maintain MRI safety protocols.

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic to sit onsite to facilitate contrast injections at multiple locations including our center in Arlington, TX.

This is a PRN position

Job Summary:

If confronted with an adverse event (contrast reaction, infiltration or situation that requires the radiologist), the Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic should immediately use the Teams audio/video functionality to alert the supervising radiologist. The radiologist will assist with assessment of the patient and provide appropriate treatment instruction, including any medication administration. It is also the responsibility of the on-site contractor to ensure 911 has been called when necessary.

Items listed must be complete prior to onsite coverage.

• Provides documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license
• Completes MRI Safety Screening form
• Review of Emergency Response and MRI Safety training

Requirements:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
