Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, is seeking a PRN PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical services team. This role focuses on immediate post-operative care, airway management, and patient monitoring in a fast-paced PACU setting.

You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams, provide wound care, and participate in on-call coverage as discussed during the interview process. A valid NH RN license and BLS are required, with BSN strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NH RN licensure and BLS certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 9 months of nursing experience.
• PACU or perioperative experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Manage airway support and monitor neurological and cardiac status.
• Perform initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Maintain on-call availability as required.
• Document care and patient outcomes in EMR per standards.
