Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide outstanding postoperative care in Manchester, NH. You will monitor vital signs, manage pain relief, administer IV fluids, educate families, and collaborate with physicians to adjust care as patients recover from anesthesia.

The role requires NH RN licensure (or compact state license) and BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. Per diem, daytime shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
NH Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN license.
BLS certification during orientation; ACLS preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitoring vital signs and conducting assessments for optimal postoperative care.
Providing comfort measures to ensure patient comfort during recovery.
Administering medications, pain relief, and IV fluids as prescribed.
Educating patients and families about recovery progress and care at home.
Assisting with discharge planning for a smooth transition home.
Documenting postoperative care in medical records accurately.
