SolutionHealth in Manchester, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse for Preop/PACU with per diem, part-time hours. The PACU team delivers perioperative care including preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and post-operative recovery in a safe, patient-centered environment.

The RN will monitor vitals, manage pain relief, and educate families during recovery. The role requires NH RN licensure (or compact state license), BLS, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to obtain BLS during orientation and maintain during employment.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and conduct assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Provide comfort measures to support recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications, pain relief, and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Educate patients on recovery progress and answer questions.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transition home.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Document postoperative care accurately in medical records.
