Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our occupational health program in the Northern Virginia market. The PA will provide primary medical direction and coordination of care within our clinic, following medical protocols and collaborating with physicians and the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent
• PANCE certification required
• Current PA licensure in the practicing state
• Minimum of 1 year experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings

Responsibilities

• Examines patient and compiles medical data.
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs).
• Interprets test results and manages patient care.
• Performs injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Counsels patients on therapy compliance and health maintenance.
• Develops patient management plans and documents progress; ensures continuity of care.
• Supports policy development and training within occupational health.
• Delivers high-quality patient experience and adheres to company values.
