Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PRN) to provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within the occupational health program.

You will examine patients, order tests, develop care plans, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering exceptional patient care. The role requires licensure in the practicing state and a background in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related health field from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited PA program).
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
• Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
• Must maintain work state physician assistant licensure throughout the course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles medical data and results of examinations.
• Orders diagnostic tests such as x-ray, ECG, and laboratory tests.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and records progress notes.
• Performs therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Ensures accurate documentation of results and paperwork.
• Delivers excellent patient experience and coordinates care within occupational health program.
