Job summary

Concentra is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary medical care within an occupational health program in the Pleasanton area. The role involves independent patient examinations, diagnostic testing, treatment, and patient education, with shifts Monday through Friday, 8-5, and coverage across East Bay sites.

Applicants should have a PA or NP program graduate with state licensure and board certification; FMCSA NRCME and DEA are required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related health field
• Licensure requirements of the state
• Graduate of PA/NP program
• Board Certification
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but training available
• FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date (CME provided)
• DEA required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Examine patient and compile medical data
• Order/perform diagnostic tests (X-ray, ECG, labs)
• Interpret test results
• Provide therapeutic procedures (injections, wound care)
• Counsel on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Develop patient management plans and document progress
• Contribute to policies and education programs
• Deliver excellent customer service and patient experience
• Ensure accurate documentation and quality checks
• Adapt to scheduling changes and busy environment
