Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner PRN to join our occupational health team in New Jersey. You will collaborate with physicians to coordinate care, perform exams, order tests, and manage patient treatment plans with a focus on high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health field from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited PA program.
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
• Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
• Must maintain PA licensure throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles medical data and examination results.
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Interprets test results and develops patient management plans.
• Provides injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Counsels patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• Ensures accurate documentation and continuity of care.
• Supports development, implementation and revision of medical policies.
• Delivers excellent patient service in alignment with Orange Book values.
