Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis, evaluating and treating residents, creating individualized plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize independence and quality of life.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling with competitive pay and opportunities to work with an experienced therapy department; Casamba and PCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred.
• Experience with Casamba and PointClickCare (PCC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services per physician orders and goals.
• Document evaluations, sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Monitor progress and modify plans as appropriate.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing, residents, families, and other professionals.
• Participate in care conferences and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home programs.
• Conduct in-service training for facility staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state acts, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support residents to maximize function and independence.
