Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help residents reach their highest level of independence.

Join a collaborative therapy department with Casamba and PCC experience preferred, and enjoy flexible PRN scheduling, supportive leadership, and opportunities to educate residents and families while delivering resident-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with Casamba and PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established goals.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
• Participate in care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and discharge planning.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs.
• Conduct in-service training and education for facility staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of function, independence, and quality of life.
