Job summary

Big Spring Center for Skilled Care in Texas is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house team. You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans to improve ADLs/IADLs, and work with the interdisciplinary team to enhance independence, safety, and quality of life.

Texas license required; SNF/long-term care experience preferred; Net Health EHR experience a plus. A $2500 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates; we provide flexible scheduling and in-house

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with active Texas license.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Willingness to work PRN schedules.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' condition and impact on daily activities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize ADLs/IADLs.
• Recommend home adaptations and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care quality.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Complete documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.

Education

Texas Occupational Therapy license
