Job summary

HomeFirst Home Healthcare is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our home health field team serving Grundy, Franklin, and Coffee counties and surrounding areas. You will conduct one-on-one patient care in the home and teach patients and families per the Plan of Care to promote safety and independence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, current OT license, at least one year of OT experience with Home Health/OASIS, CPR certification, reliable transportation,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy educational program.
• Current OT state license within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience.
• Home Health / Oasis experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, current driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one patient care and patient/family teaching in the home setting.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to optimize functional abilities per Plan of Care.
• Promote safety and independence in the home setting.
