Job summary

HomeFirst Home Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for PRN home health visits in Grundy, Franklin, Coffee counties and surrounding areas. The role includes conducting individualized in-home therapy and family education, with per-visit compensation ranging from $70 to $120.

Candidate must have an accredited OT program, current OT licensure, at least 1 year of OT experience, and Home Health/OASIS familiarity. CPR certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy educational program.
• Current OT state license within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience.
• Home Health / Oasis experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care and family teaching in the home setting.
• Implement therapeutic interventions per Plan of Care to promote safety and independence.
• Collaborate with patients and families to optimize functional abilities in daily activities.

Overview

As a home health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting one-on-one patient care and patient/family teaching in the home setting. You will work directly with patients in their residence implementing therapeutic interventions to optimize their functional abilities per Plan of Care to promote safety and independence in the home setting.
