Job summary

HomeFirst Home Healthcare is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN home health in Grundy, Franklin, Coffee counties and surrounding areas in Tennessee. You will conduct one-on-one patient care in patients' homes, teaching families and implementing therapeutic interventions per Plan of Care to promote safety and independence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, OT license in Tennessee, CPR, and at least 1 year of OT experience in home health/Oasis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy educational program.
• Current OT license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year OT experience.
• Home Health / Oasis experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one patient care in the home setting and provide patient/family teaching.
• Implement therapeutic interventions per Plan of Care to promote safety and independence in the home.

Overview

As a home health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting one-on-one patient care and patient/family teaching in the home setting. You will work directly with patients in their residence implementing therapeutic interventions to optimize their functional abilities per Plan of Care to promote safety and independence in the home setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy educational program
• Current Occupational Therapy / OT state license within the state of practice
• Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience
• Home Health / Oasis experience required
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent organizational, time-management, written and verbal communication skills
