Harvard Park Surgery Center in Colorado is seeking an OR Registered Nurse - PRN to join our team. The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care in the operating room, adhering to nursing standards and the center's policies.

Responsibilities include making decisions on direct patient care, and communicating with physicians, patients, families, and other departments. Additional duties may involve serving on committees and supporting quality improvement projects.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state, or possess a compact license.
• Compact licenses must obtain state license within 90 days of hire.
• CPR required, advanced life support certification required within six months of hire.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsabilidades

• The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for operating room patients.
• Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates with physicians, patients, family, and personnel in other departments.
• May have additional responsibilities designated by Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, including committee work and quality improvement projects.

Conocimientos

CPR certification

ACLS within 6 months

Intra-operative experience

Nursing license

Leadership & teaching
