Capital Surgical Solutions LLC is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for PRN/per diem coverage in Littleton, CO. The role focuses on circulating duties, coordinating the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety from entry to PACU handoff.

The candidate should have ADN/BSN, 1–2 years perioperative experience, CO RN license (or multistate), BLS, aseptic technique knowledge, and EMR proficiency. OT and varied shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• 1–2 years of prior perioperative nursing experience.
• Current, unrestricted RN license valid in CO; multistate compact accepted where applicable.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Working knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and AORN guidelines.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient records before case; verifies consent, history, site, allergies, labs, implants; resolves discrepancies.
• Prepares OR with instruments, supplies, equipment, and implants; confirms sterility indicators.
• Assesses patient on arrival; confirms identity, procedure, site; communicates findings to team.
• Leads the surgical safety checklist and time-out; maintains sterile technique and corrects breaks in sterility.
