Job summary

Orchard Park Surgery Center is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our team in Westminster, CO. The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in the operating room.

Responsibilities include communicating with physicians, patients and staff, and supporting quality improvement projects as designated by the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing. CPR and ACLS within six months and OR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current state license or compact license.
• CPR required; ACLS within six months of hire.
• One year intra-operative experience preferred.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in the operating room.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families and OR staff.
• Support Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing on quality improvement activities.
