Job summary

Harvard Park Surgery Center in Denver, CO is seeking an OR Registered Nurse - PRN to join our team.

The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in the operating room, adheres to nursing standards, and supports physicians, patients and staff. Requires nursing degree, valid state license or compact license, ACLS/CPR within six months, and at least one year of intra-operative experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license in state or compact license; compact licensees must obtain state license within 90 days of hire.
• CPR required; ACLS/ALS certification required within six months of hire.
• One year experience in intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room.
• Performs nursing duties within standards of practice and center policies.
• Communicates with physicians, patients, family and staff; supports Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing as needed.
