Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in the Denver metro area seeks an OR Registered Nurse for PRN coverage. You will join an interdisciplinary Surgical Services team, contribute to patient care, and help shape outcomes in a high-volume OR environment.

Requirements include Colorado RN licensure (or multi-state), BLS, BSN preferred, and at least one year perioperative experience; CNOR is a plus. Expect competitive benefits and scheduled flexibility to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multi-state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• BSN preferred; perioperative experience requested; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized OR nursing care for specified age groups (adult to pediatric).
• Prepare for procedures by ensuring adequate stock and equipment.
• Assist post-procedure workload, including room cleanup and setup for next case.
• Teach, supervise, and delegate within competency levels of staff.
• May rotate to areas beyond the OR while maintaining competency.
