Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Texas RN license active and unencumbered.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS within 90 days).
• One year of intra-operative care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates plan of care with patient and family.
• Follows nursing processes and adjusts care based on patient condition.
• Demonstrates clinical problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Makes decisions using evidence-based analytical approach.
• Prepares operating room per patient/procedure requirements.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity.
• Assists in ensuring supplies and equipment are available.
• Documentation of care is accurate and timely.
