Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking an Operating Room Circulating Nurse in Texas to perform circulating duties with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Requirements include a current Texas RN license, at least two years of circulator experience, current BLS, and ACLS or obtain within one year. You will document nursing care in the OR medical record and assist the scrub nurse as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license for the state of Texas.
• Must have previous experience as a circulator, preferably at least two years.
• Must have a current BLS.
• Must have ACLS or obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs all circulating duties with efficiency and speed.
• Ensures that proper techniques and practices are used according to acceptable standards of practice.
• Assist with the scrub technician as necessary.
• Documents all nursing care delivered in the operating room in the medical record.
• Performs other nursing duties as assigned.
