Medical City Alliance, part of the HCA Healthcare network, seeks a Registered Nurse OR Circulator (PRN) to support perioperative care in theOperating Room. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality care, and collaboration with surgeons, staff, and leadership.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree (BSN preferred, with BSN due within 3 years), at least 1 year of experience, and Texas RN eligibility. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS; PALS within 90 days of hire.

Formación

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred; BSN must be completed within 3 years of employment.
• One year of experience required.
• RN license eligible to practice in Texas; current BLS and ACLS required from an HCA approved vendor; PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedure and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following evidence-based practices.
• Be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team in the OR.
• Document changes in patient condition and care provided.
• Educate patients and families about medical condition, treatment, and follow-up.
