Job summary

OneQuest Health in Covington, KY seeks a PRN On-Call Therapist to provide debriefing and assessment after emergency interventions in an inpatient residential setting.

You will document in the EHR, support staff, and contribute to trauma-informed care, with hours evenings, nights, and weekends.

Requirements include MSW, KY license (LCSW preferred), 2 years in behavioral health, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master of Social Work (MSW) or closely related degree.
• Must have a Kentucky license; LCSW preferred.
• Two years’ experience in behavioral health or the educational field.
• Knowledge and experience in providing individual and family therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment models.
• Demonstrates ability to work as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Must have a current driver’s license and insurance.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultural and socioeconomic characteristics; support Sanctuary Model and All Children, All Families framework.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency interventions for debriefing and assessment.
• Arrive on-site promptly after notification.
• Facilitate debriefing sessions with involved staff.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to staff.
• Conduct in-person client assessments post-intervention.
• Evaluate client physical and emotional well-being post-intervention.
• Develop recommendations for ongoing care or additional interventions.
• Complete all required documentation in the EHR.
• Submit reports timely after interventions.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed of best practices and trauma-informed care.
