Job summary

Powerback Rehab in New Mexico seeks a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement therapy programs and support recovery goals in a facility setting.

You will follow individualized recovery plans, deliver treatments, and help patients regain independence under the Director of Rehab's guidance. Eligible candidates are graduates of an accredited OTA program with NBCOT certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE.
• Initial certification from NBCOT or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Help patients improve function by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to restore independence and functioning.
• Adapt plans to individual patient needs and settings to maximize outcomes.
• Support a patient-centered environment and coordinate with care teams.
