Job summary

Powerback Rehab in New Mexico is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patients in our facility. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver hands-on treatments to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

Graduate of an accredited COTA program with NBCOT certification; must be licensed or eligible in NM. You will work under the Director of Rehab and collaborate with a compassionate team to provide patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from NBCOT.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure in New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and coordinate with families.
• Focus on restoring independence and functional abilities.
