Job summary

Powerback Rehab's Clayton Nursing Center in Clayton, NM is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patient recovery in a facility-based setting. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans and deliver treatments that promote independence and improved function.

The role requires NM licensure or eligibility and NBCOT certification, with a collaborative team focused on compassionate, high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities and follow developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain independence.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
• Be adaptable to patient needs and collaborate with peers to coordinate care.
• Put patients first and maintain a caring, compassionate atmosphere.

Education
