Job summary

WAVERLYHILLS is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant-PRN to support the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, document patient progress, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role requires an Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program, proficiency with health-record systems, and effective communication with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Proficient computer skills for health record systems such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and policies.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control practices.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Assist nursing with training of Restorative Aides.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise plans.
