Job summary

WellSpan Health in Pennsylvania is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant at an entry to intermediate level. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver targeted therapies and support patient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include implementing routine motor activities, assisting with evaluations, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety, documenting progress, and training staff on OT techniques in compliance with PA regulations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Required.
• Less than 1 year Relevant experience. Required
• Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine motor activities and activities of daily living for assigned patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with administering portions of standard evaluations and gather information on patient skills.
• Coordinate OT activities with the interdisciplinary team to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and state governing bodies.
• Train medical and nursing personnel in occupational therapy techniques.
