Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide entry to intermediate level OT services to individual patients. You will evaluate, plan and implement therapy programs aimed at restoring and enhancing functional performance, with patient participation and education.

You will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, supervise COTAs and Rehab Aides, and participate in ongoing professional development while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program and licensure required on hire.
• Basic Life Support certification on hire required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient using evidence-based evaluation techniques.
• Plans individualized OT program with sensorimotor, educational, recreational and social activities.
• Provides instructions for continued therapy by the patient.
• Coordinates OT activities with the interdisciplinary team to achieve goals.
• Supervises COTAs and Rehab Aides as required by PA practice act.
