Job summary

Quantum Healthcare Group seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis, supporting therapists and residents within our in-house rehab program.

The successful candidate will conduct screenings, assist with treatments, and contribute to documentation while collaborating with the rehab team. Florida license is required and good communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• A current Florida Occupational Therapy Assisting License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be computer/tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Occupational Therapist.
• Provides Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care.
• Contributes objective data to Occupational Therapists as allowed by scope of practice.
• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success.

The facility has a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the OTA/COTA is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
