Job summary

Bayview Healthcare in Ocala is seeking a Full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team providing person-centered care to residents. The OTA will implement treatment plans, monitor responses, and collaborate with the IDT to ensure quality outcomes.

We require an Associate’s degree as an OTA and a valid license in good standing. In-house rehab option, flexible schedules, and competitive benefits are offered. Work location is in person, day shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or greater - Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify approach with IDT collaboration.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Attend required meetings as designated by leadership.

OTA Responsibilities:

• Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
• Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

OTA Requirements:

Associate’s degree or greater - Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
