Job summary

TruCare Living Centers in Columbus, TX is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join an in-house rehab program. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative interventions, ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and assistive devices to geriatric patients.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OTA program and an active state license where applicable; experience levels welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in coordination with the supervising OT.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
