Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improve quality of life.

The OTA will plan and administer treatments under supervision, respond to service requests, document thoroughly, and participate in Rehab Department meetings. Prior SNF or long-term care exposure is preferred and a valid Texas license is required.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current occupational therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT.
• Respond to requests for service and relay information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
